We enter a new month with another round of fuel price hikes.

For the period of June 3 to 9, 2025, gasoline prices will increase again by P0.40 per liter, higher than last week’s P0.10/L hike. Diesel prices will also go up by P0.30 per liter, after last week’s P0.20/L increase. Finally, kerosene will have a price rollback of P0.10 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P4.50/L and P3.90/L since the beginning of 2025, and kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P2.55/L since the start of the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work. Is your car consuming more fuel than usual? Here’s one thing to check. While we’re at it, here are the signs your fuel injectors could be failing.
