Do the newly opened stations of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension serve your area? From two of the extended rail line’s stations, you will be able to access a major mall in Metro Manila’s coastal area—for free.
Free modern jeepney rides are currently available between Ayala Malls Manila Bay, the LRT-1 Redemptorist-Aseana Station, and the LRT-1 MIA Road Station. The route operates daily from 9am to 9pm, with shuttles departing every 30 minutes.

What you need to know about the LRT-1 Cavite Extension
The newly opened segment of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension is the first phase of the 11.7km extension project that will take the train line all the way to Bacoor, Cavite. It expands the LRT-1’s daily capacity by 80,000 passengers. The five newly opened stations are:

- First trains from Fernando Poe Jr. Station and Dr. Santos Station

- From Fernando Poe Jr. Station, weekends and holidays – 9:45pm
- From Dr. Santos Station, Monday to Friday – 10pm
- From Dr. Santos Station, weekends and holidays – 9:30pm
The fare depends on payment methods. A ride from Dr. Santos Station in Sucat to Fernando Poe Jr. Station in Quezon City costs P43 when paying via a stored-value card. Meanwhile, a single-journey ticket costs P45 for the entire end-to-end route.
The final two phases of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension will add three more stations to the rail line: Las Piñas, Zapote, and Niog.
