For those who frequent the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), you’ll have to add a little bit more when traveling through that highway. That’s because the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved price increases for the toll road.

The toll price hike will be effective on March 19, 2024. The increases will apply for all vehicle classes.

How much are the MCX price hikes?

For Class 1 vehicles, toll prices go up by P1. Class 1 applies for passenger cars, pickups, SUVs, trucks and vans under 2.27 meters (or 7.5 feet), and highway-legal motorcycles (over 400cc).

Moving to Class 2, fees are up by P2. By law, Class 2 vehicles are light trucks, minibuses, and vans over 2.27 meters. Yes, some high-roof vans are classified as such.

Lastly, Class 3 sees a hike of P3. Class 3 covers all heavy-duty trucks, trucks with trailers, vehicles with three (or more) axles over 2.27 meters, and large buses.
