Early this month, we listed down the 11 traffic management programs that the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority was implementing for the holiday season, one of which was the provision "for shuttle buses to and from the Domestic Airport for arriving and departing passengers."
Well, the agency has officially started dispatching today, December 15, six shuttle buses--identifiable by stickers bearing the words "MMDA's Airport Christmas Shuttle"--that will go from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminals 2, 3 and 4, to Baclaran and SM Mall of Asia.
"Instead of these passengers utilizing their own private cars or cabs to bring them to the airport, they can go as a group by availing of the free airport shuttle service we are providing," said MMDA chairman Francis Tolentino. "The airport shuttle service will be free of charge for passengers only. They just need to show their airline tickets to avail of the service."
The MMDA's airport shuttle service will be available until December 23.
