The Electric Love Bus is expanding its route inside Metro Manila. Beginning late April or the first week of May, the free-ride service will have a loop going from Robinson’s Galleria to Eastwood City.

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the memorandum of agreement for the electric Love Bus program today, March 3, on its official Facebook page. Operated in partnership with Global Electric Transport Philippines (GET), 10 electric buses that can accommodate up to 30 passengers at a time will operate from 6am to 9pm—and potentially up to 10pm, depending on the demand.

GET Philippines president Freddie Tinga emphasized the importance of this partnership between the private sector and the government for the Love Bus project. “We will make public transport palatable, enjoyable, safe, and environment-friendly for everyone,” he said.
