We knew big changes were coming for the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) once New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) took over its management and maintenance, but this one is literally big: Overnight parking rates will shoot up by four times the current rate.
Per the Philippine News Agency, the Manila International Airport Authority has also confirmed the increase in parking rates.

Effective October 1, 2024, the following parking rates will be implementated:
NAIA parking rates effective October 1, 2024
Cars
- First two hours – P50
- Succeeding hours – P25/hour or a fraction thereof
- Overnight parking – P1,200 for every 24 hours
Motorcycles
First two hours – P20
Succeeding hours – P10/hour or a fraction thereof
Overnight parking – P480 for every 24 hours
Buses
First two hours – P100
Succeeding hours – P50/hour or a fraction thereof
Overnight parking – P2,400 for every 24 hours

Prior to the new rates, the overnight parking rate for cars started at P300 for the first 24 hours, then it’s P15 per hour or a fraction thereof after that.
On September 30, a supposed NNIC memo detailing the new rates circulated online. It was also dated September 30, and set to take effect on October 1. We reached out to several representatives of San Miguel Corporation (SMC), which leads the NNIC consortium, to confirm if the document was an official issuance, and were told that an official statement would be given on October 1.
