The main arrival curbside located at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 is now officially open to all passengers and travelers. In the past, that particular arrival area was reserved for VIPs, but with a new directive from New NAIA Infra (NNIC), private vehicles, ride-sharing users, and taxis can now make use of the 14-bay curbside.
NNIC has also reconfigured other pickup areas around Terminal 1, to further speed up the flow of traffic around the airport.

The 14 bays that make up the main arrival curbside have also been designated for varying travelers to, again, speed up the flow of traffic. While private vehicles are entitled to use any of the 14 bays, NNIC has labeled bays A8 and A9 has pickup areas for persons with disabilities (PWDs). Bays A11 and 12 will be claimed for VIPs, while the bays A13 and A14 will be designated for hotel pickups.
A Terminal Transfer shuttle bus will also operate just beyond bay A14. Aside from moving cars and passengers at a quicker pace, these designations should also make waiting more comfortable and convenient.
Along Terminal 1’s outer arrival curbside, NNIC has also made bays B1 to B6 additional pickup areas. This space will also hold a meet-and-greet area, as well as booths for GrabCar. On the ground level, NNIC will be setting aside more space in its arrival extension area for vehicle rental services, taxis, and other means of transporation.
