If you commute via P2P bus, read on because your usual route may be affected. In an announcement by P2P bus lines UBE Express and RRCG Transport on Facebook, the Skyway is said to be undergoing emergency repairs and, as a result, will temporarily redirect all buses to ground-level routes.
Specific routes affected for RRCG Transport will be the Alabang Town Center to Greenbelt 5 route, Alabang Town Center to SM Megamall, and Visa Terminal Exchange to Starmall Shaw and vice versa. Meanwhile, UBE Express announced that its route from Robinsons Santa Rosa to Ninoy Aquino International Terminals will be affected as well. These buses will be using the South Luzon Expressway to get to their assigned destinations.
Due to this, commuters are advised to expect longer travel times due to heavier traffic conditions. Both bus companies encourage passengers to plan accordingly by arriving at bus terminals earlier than usual to ensure they arrive at their destinations on time.

No specific details were shared about which part of the Skyway is being repaired, nor until when buses will need to take the alternate road. But based on the routes affected, it seems to be part of the older portions of the Skyway, not Skyway Stage 3. The detours started on Monday, July 27, and are in effect “until further notice.”
