MMDA cracks down on illegal loading/unloading

“Are you tired of provincial buses stopping dead in their tracks in front of you to drop off passengers? Well, we have some good news for you: The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced that provincial buses loading and unloading passengers along EDSA and other major Metro Manila thoroughfares will be apprehended.”

Millions of motorcycles have expired registration

“These figures were released by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) during its first consultative meeting for the Republic Act 11235 or the Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act. Leaders of riders’ clubs, motorcycle manufacturers, law enforcers, road safety advocates, and representatives of various government agencies were in attendance.

“Before the consultation led by LTO chief Edgar Galvante, the agency unleashed a more shocking report.

"The number of motorcycles with delinquent registration has ballooned to 12.28 million.”
