More mall-based stores and restaurants are reopening now that we’re under general community quarantine (GCQ), which might make it tempting to leave the confines of your home and visit your favorite shopping establishment.
Question is, would you really want to? The shift to GCQ doesn’t mean that we’ve flattened the curve, only that we’re easing into looser quarantine regulations to slowly revive the economy (visit our COVID-19 case tracker to check out the latest stats daily). So, as before under ECQ, avoid going out as much as possible.
For the times you have to purchase food and other needs, however, Robinsons Malls now offers a safer way to shop with its drive-through pickup stations, available at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, Robinsons Magnolia, and Forum Robinsons. Here’s how it works:
1) Check if your preferred store or restaurant is open.
For this, you may visit the participating mall’s official Facebook page or join the Robinsons Malls Viber community for a list of open tenants and their contact details.
2) Contact the store or restaurant to place your order.
You may then pay for your purchases via the available payment options, after which you’ll be given the pickup schedule and the assigned pickup-station bay number.
For Robinsons Galleria, the 10 pickup stations are located along Veranda Driveway. Robinsons Place Manila has 10 pickup stations on Adriatico Street, Padre Faura Street, and Pedro Gil Street, while at Robinsons Magnolia, the pickup stations are located on the Doña Hemady Driveway (Bays 1 to 5) and the Aurora Boulevard Driveway (Bays 6 to 7). Finally, Forum Robinsons has five pickup stations along the EDSA Bus Bay and the Pioneer Street Driveway.
3) Go to the mall on the scheduled date and time.
Park at the assigned bay number and wait inside your vehicle.
Over the coming days, pickup stations will also be set up at other Robinsons Malls across the country. For updates, go to Robinsons Malls’ official website, Facebook page, or Twitter account.
