San Miguel (SMC) has confirmed that it will be waiving toll collection on its expressways this holiday season. Specifically, the expressways covered are the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), the Skyway System, the NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), the Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway (TPLEX), and the STAR Tollway.
The toll relief will cover the following windows:
Toll-free hours on SMC expressways for Christmas 2025
- From 10pm on December 24, to 6am on December 25
- From 10pm on December 31, to 6am on January 1, 2026

SMC then suspended all non-essential roadwork until January 4, 2026. More tow trucks and other emergency vehicles have also been deployed to strategic locations on the aforementioned thoroughfares.

Simultaneously, expressways covered by Metro Pacific Tollways (MPTC) will waive collection on the same windows. These are the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), the NLEX Connector, the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), and the Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex).
Motorists traversing through both SMC- and MPTC-operated tollways can now opt to use just one RFID sticker through the One RFID, All Tollways program. With the program, motorists can unify their EasyTrip and Autosweep accounts and then keep the sticker of their choice. The Department of Transportation launched this program in October to help motorists better manage their RFID wallets and overall mobility.
