Toll hike alert: SLEX has begun collecting higher toll fees

If you regularly pass through the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), we’ve got some bad news for you: The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has announced that the second tranche of toll hikes was implemented on August 19, 2024.

In effect, toll fees on SLEX have gone up by the following amounts:

Alabang to Calamba

  • Class 1 – P10 increase
  • Class 2 – P20 increase
  • Class 3 – P30 increase

Calamba to Santo Tomas

  • Class 1 – P2 increase
  • Class 2 – P6 increase
  • Class 3 – P8 increase

This second tranche of toll hikes is part of the petitioned toll fee adjustment for 2012 and 2014. The first tranche was implemented in November 2023.
