In case you’re passing through San Juan City on Monday, June 24, 2024, just a reminder: the annual Wattah Wattah Festival or Basaan Festival is happening on that day, and the local government has announced road closures for the parade.
From 5am to 12nn on June 24, parts of the following roads will be closed to traffic:

The advisory also warns motorists to expect heavy traffic on Aurora Boulevard throughout the day. If possible, take alternate routes.

Mayor Francis Zamora announced last week that this year’s Wattah Wattah Festival will be...well, watered down: Only three fire trucks will be deployed to conserve water. Be warned, though, that even if you steer clear of the parade, you can usually expect to get doused anywhere in San Juan City on this day.
