Ahead of the annual Feast of the Black Nazarene on January 9, the Quiapo Church has released the route of the Traslacion procession in the City of Manila.
The image of the Black Nazarene will be at Quirino Grandstand beginning January 6 for the pahalik,or the kissing and veneration of the image, which opens at 7pm and runs until January 8. On January 9, the misa mayor will begin at midnight, after which the vigil will continue ahead of the Traslacion.

The City of Manila has also released a list of road closures and rerouting schemes for this year’s Traslacion. Do expect congestion in the area of Quirino Grandstand on the lead-up to the feastday as devotees join the activities.
