Oil firms have earlier today rolled back the prices of both gasoline and diesel products by 50 centavos and 25 centavos respectively.
Chevron Philippines (formerly Caltex), Seaoil Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum and PTT Philippines all adjusted their prices at 12:01 a.m. while Petron Corp. followed suit at 6a.m.
Kerosene prices also went down by 50 centavos but only Chevron, Seaoil and Petron have confirmed that they will be adjusting their prices.
In Seaoil's text message to the media, the independent oil company said this week's oil price rollback is "due to the downward trend in the global market prices."
