What's cooler than owning an Aston Martin DB5, a car that has been closely associated with James Bond? Owning one that previously belonged to Paul McCartney, of course!
At RM Auctions' annual London sale, which will be held on October 31, an Aston Martin DB5 previously owned by the former Beatle will go on the auction block.
Bought brand-new--as confirmed by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust--by McCartney in 1964 just before the Beatles embarked on their very first world tour, this DB5 comes with many factory-fitted extras including a Selectaride suspension, a Motorola radio, chrome wire wheels, and a Philips Auto-Mignon record player.
Though RM Auctions didn't disclose how much it estimates McCartney's DB5 will sell for, TopGear.com expects it to go for "around £400,000" (around P27 million).
Which would you rather have, McCartney's Aston Martin DB5 or John Lennon's Ferrari 330 GT?
