The second-generation Porsche Cayenne may have only been in production since 2010, and yet the German carmaker has already marked a milestone for the model after the 100,000th unit rolled off the production line recently.
The milestone unit is clad in pure white and sports a V8 engine. According to Porsche, this very unit is headed to Brazil where its owner is waiting for its delivery.
The second-generation Cayenne is being sold in more than 124 markets in five model variants spanning a wide power range from 245hp to 500hp and an average fuel consumption ranging from 7.2 liters to 11.5 liters for every 100km (roughly 9km to 14km to per liter).
This current-model Cayenne has been produced in Porsche's Leipzig, Germany, plant since 2009 with the carmaker delivering over 360,00 units of the first-generation model to customers since 2002.
