Are you into motorcycle racing? If you are, you surely know who Valentino Rossi is. The guy, of course, is an Italian professional motorbike racer and six-time MotoGP world champion. Think of him as the Michael Schumacher of motorcycle racing. He currently rides for the Yamaha team.
So what, you ask? Well, Rossi is coming to the Philippines, that's what. On February 23, Yamaha Motor Philippines is bringing him over to help with the company's efforts to bring relief to the survivors of typhoon Yolanda. This project, called "Champions Rebuild Lives," aims to "raise funds by encouraging everyone to purchase discounted and limited racing items donated by the Yamaha MotoGP team," says the official invitation to the press conference.
If you want to see Rossi in the flesh, he will be at SM City Santa Rosa on February 23, from 11am to 5pm. Bring a camera.
