The Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines eSports GT Championship 2026 is back for the national finals—and three of these 20 finalists will have a shot at representing the country in the Asia Finals later this year.
Over 400 sim racers participated in the nationwide qualifiers, ran on a virtual Laguna Seca using a stock Toyota GR 86. Here are the fastest among this year’s participants:

The national finals will be held on September 27, 2026, at Function Room 1 of SMX Convention Center. The champion of each class will receive P100,000 and a slot in the regional finals. The runner-up in each class will receive P75,000, and the runner-up with the higher number of points will get the third and final slot to represent Team Philippines in the regionals.
The event is also open to the public with free admission. Those visiting can try out the public sim-racing rigs, purchase GR merchandise, and check out the GR Yaris, the GR Corolla, the GR86, and the Tamaraw race car used in the Toyota GR Philippine Cup.
“The esports community has grown a lot since last season, where we only had 250 participants for the qualifiers,” said Elijah Marcial, first vice president for vehicle sales operations. “We are thrilled to see that there are more people getting into motorsports through sim racing, and we look forward to finding out who will be coming out on top at the National Finals.
“We are especially encouraged by the strong participation in our Junior Category, which plays a vital role in our esports program by giving young racers an avenue to develop their skills, gain competitive experience, and pursue their passion for motorsports from an early age. Through initiatives like this, we hope to continue nurturing the next generation of Filipino racing talent.”
Launched in 2020, the TGR Philippine eSports GT Championship has provided aspiring racers a more accessible entry to motorsport via sim racing. Previous winners have also graduated to the TGR Philippine Cup.
Among this year’s finalists, Reyes, Moreno, Ancheta, and Ison have competed as part of Team Philippines in the regional finals across different seasons. The best individual result to date for a Filipino is Moreno’s second-place finish in the 2023 TGR GT Asia Cup Finals.
