As you may have heard, there's already an all-new (fourth-generation) CR-V, and Honda is sparing nothing to let the world know about it. Specifically, Honda is airing this two-and-a-half-minute spot during the Super Bowl XLVI telecast on February 5. Needless to say, this is the longest commercial we've seen yet among this year's batch of Super Bowl ads.
The CR-V ad--called "Matthew's Day Off"--features movie actor Matthew Broderick. It shows him calling in sick just to indulge in leisurely pursuits, driving the CR-V among them. The commercial is directed by The Hangover director Todd Phillips, so you can expect a lot of shenanigans.
