The Nissan Patrol has completely reinvented itself. We’re used to seeing white Patrols caked in mud, with a roaring V8 running through the dirt. But in its latest iteration, the Patrol drives more intently through the executive SUV segment while maintaining its status as a mean off-roader.

The all-new design reasserts the Patrol’s road dominance on city streets and overland trails in a completely different fashion. With a more reserved impression that opts for metal finishes instead of its previous shiny chrome accents, its sheer size reinvigorates driver and passenger confidence.

That confidence is carried by an authoritative 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, developed with technologies and know-how derived from the mighty GT-R. Nissan made a few modifications to make the powertrain more suitable for the Patrol’s size and stature, resulting in numbers that clock in at 425hp and a whopping 700Nm of torque.

The healthy amount of torque lets the Patrol capably shift through rocky roads in tandem with its Intelligent 4WD system and two-speed transfer case. And even through typical potholes and rough terrain in the city, the Patrol still drives in luxurious comfort, thanks to its independent double wishbone suspension. Even getting in and out of the car is especially easy due to the four-level adaptive air suspension. All these make the complete driving system for whatever conditions Patrol owners find themselves in.

Inside the cabin, the quilted leather upholstery and upgraded infotainment system will further push new owners to make the Nissan Patrol their new daily driver. All three rows of seats are dressed in two-tone leather that further uplifts its luxurious comfort. The dual screens on the second row offer incredible versatility with HDMI and USB-C connectivity and smartphone casting capabilities. Another pair of screens are mounted up front for the instrument cluster and the main infotainment screen which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These also serve as monitors for the multiple cameras around the vehicle.

Wherever you take the all-new Nissan Patrol, comfort and performance are never compromised. It is a truly versatile vehicle that adapts to its present environment or the desires of its passengers.
