The NMAX has already established itself as one of the strongest models not just in the Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. (YMPH) lineup but also across the local motorcycle industry. It’s amassed legion of fans since its first arrival about a decade ago, and it’s clear that it’ll be here to stay in the years to come.
Now, it enters a new era with this next iteration, and it looks to redefine the local scooter segment in the next decade to come. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the all-new Yamaha NMAX Tech MAX. It lands in our market with mechanical and technological improvements that are sure to give its rivals a run for their money.

This newest version of the NMAX is the most technologically advanced one yet. It packs a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Blue Core engine mated to the revolutionary Yamaha Electric CVT (Y-ECVT). It enables two ride modes: Sport (S) and Touring (T). T mode is for the regulary daily commute and ensures optimized fuel efficiency, while S mode is for the spirited rides and allows for sharper acceleration.

The all-new NMAX Tech MAX also features a three-level downshift control, which allows riders to fine-tune the acceleration or deceleration of the scooter with the flick of a lever and customize the responsiveness of the throttle to their liking.
Of course, safety features such as the dual-channel ABS and traction control system are available, but this suite of tech is further augmented by the new instrument cluster. The 4.2-inch TFT display enables monitoring of valuable vehicle information including coolant temperature and battery voltage. It also allows linking of smartphones through the Y-CONNECT app, letting riders select music and answer calls through the head unit. But most important, the cluster also displays the Garmin-powered navigation system.

The technological enhancements also come with aesthetic improvements. The new Yamaha NMAX Tech MAX boasts a redesigned front clip, with a sportier and more modern-looking headlight design that elevates the scooter’s overall look. This is matched with an equally striking rear with the eye-catching, new-look taillights.

The all-new Yamaha NMAX Tech MAX is now available in the Philippines for a sticker price of P175,900. Head to your nearest Yamaha dealership now to take a closer look, or even better, to finalize that purchase.
