We don’t have a lot of electrified pickups here in the Philippines. Despite that, Changan has still taken a bet with the Changan Nevo Hunter REEV 4x4 Knight. The Chinese carmaker hopes to pull more buyers to the range-extended pickup bandwagon, as this model is the biggest rival of the BYD Shark 6 DMO.
The Nevo Hunter REEV packs plenty of power, and at P1.97 million, it makes a compelling case on paper. That also makes it a decent alternative to the traditional, diesel-powered midsize pickups like the Toyota Hilux, the Ford Ranger, the Mitsubishi Triton, the Nissan Navara, and the Isuzu D-Max, among others. But how does Changan’s truck deliver in real-world driving conditions? Watch our full review above to learn more.
