It's called the Knight XV, and it's labeled as the world's most secure and luxurious handcrafted SUV. The part about it being luxurious doesn't concern me, I'm happy when a car is just comfortable. Give me supportive seats and an ergonomic interior any day. I like the part about it being secure; security is always good in this town.
What I like about it the most is its intimidating size and its toughness. It's more than a foot wider and three feet longer than an H2.
To give you an idea of its size, here's a hint, those rims are 20 inches in diameter.
It only gets better. The Knight XV is built using ballistic hardened steel, ballistic fiberglass fenders and bumper, and transparent armor for the glass. In contrast to the toughness outside, the inside cossets you with an Alpine entertainment system, wool carpeting, leather seats, TV monitors and a Playstation 3.
Oh, and one more thing. It has night vision. Imagine the possibilities...
The Knight XV is based on a modified Ford F-350 Super Duty platform and is powered by a 6.8-liter V10 that generates 400hp and 678 Nm of torque. But don't worry, it can run on E85 fuel. That means it cares for the environment, and that you have a good excuse to buy one. Assuming you can foot the US$310,000 (approx. P14.7M) sticker price that is.
