Is this car worth saving?

This is a new section of Rust'N'Pieces that features neglected autos on the road. Our inaugural 'Treasure or Trash' car is a Mark I Ford Escort GT that is in sorry shape. I spotted this baby in Mandaluyong, close to where I work.

Apart from the missing fender, it looks to be complete.

The owner said that he has plans of fixing this car up, but I say he should get around to it soon. No car is ever beyond repair, but this one is deteriorating quickly.
