If you follow sports and hoops, then you might know that the NBA All-Star Weekend has officially come to a close. We’re not here to talk about the questionable judging at the Slam Dunk Competition, the mad fumbles from the Skills Challenge, or the all-for-naught return of the East vs. West format. We’re not even going to talk about the cars that pulled up to the festivities.
In fact, what we’re here for is a little something that came out from Indiana this weekend, and it’s not even from any of the NBA’s events: The insane basketball trick shot made at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

This stunt was done by content creator and shooting coach Chris Matthews, more commonly known on social media as Lethal Shooter. Matthews gained popularity on the Internet not only because of his shooting prowess but also for his out-of-the-box shooting stunts—he previously went head-to-head with Toyota’s basketball-shooting robot. Now, he’s upped the ante by making a shot from over 100ft (30m+) inside a moving Chevrolet Corvette going at over 100kph (60mph+).
It’s as insane as it sounds, and it’s arguably the only exciting thing apart from the three-point shootouts that we witnessed over the past few days. We’re not sure how many takes this thing took to complete—we’re guessing there’s a lot—but frankly, we don’t care. It’s hard enough to shoot a shot from that far, let alone from inside a moving car.
