Race bikes—we reckon much like racecars—don’t exactly get a lot of TLC in terms of cosmetics. Sure, the engineers at the pits do everything they can to keep the bike in the best running condition possible, but they couldn’t care less about what it looks like. As long as there’s nothing wrong aerodynamically, who cares about some chipping paint?
After their lives on the track, though, these machines are either put on the chopping block or kept as memorabilia. This bike here is the latter—it’s a Honda CBR600RR race bike that’s won its fair share of hardware during its heyday and is now ready for retirement. The last step? A damn good detailing job.
