The all-new Z4, the Toyota Supra’s roofless twin brother, is finally in the Philippines. And if you think the car looks stunning in photographs, just wait until you get the chance to see it in the metal.
There’s little arguing that this vehicle is one of the most gorgeous cars to hit the market this 2019. Up front, you’re immediately drawn to the Z4’s kidney grille featuring an intricate honeycomb pattern. This is flanked by sleek swept-back headlights that perfectly complement the sports car’s low stance and roadster proportions.
You’ll find striking albeit subtle (at least with the Z4 in black) character lines that sweep toward the rear end, which features large, very premium taillights. The Z4’s return has been a long time coming, and so far, it looks like it’s been worth the wait.
The interior, with its driver-oriented dashboard and minimalist feel, should be familiar to those who’ve been inside any modern BMW. As you move further back, though, you’re greeted by edgy door panels and trim, as well as brightly colored Vernasca leather and premium materials. It’s a very playful place to sit in, as far as German vehicles are concerned, and it fits right in with the nameplate’s energetic character.
Standard features include ambient lighting, a premium 12-speaker Harmon Kardon sound setup, a large 10.25-inch central infotainment display equipped with BMW Live Cockpit Professional, and a handful of smart driving features including Reversing Assistant and Parking Assistant.
We’ve already discussed the all-new Z4’s official specs and price here. Do you think this is a triumphant return for the storied nameplate? Check out the images from the launch and let us know in the comments.
