The long wait is finally over. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has officially launched the Mitsubishi Xpander in the local market, and we've finally gotten up close and personal with the new MPV offering.

As far as looks go, we have to say the Xpander is everything the Japanese carmaker hyped it up to be since it was first revealed in the middle of 2017.

This seven-seat MPV's modern look is carried by what is perhaps the most in-your-face take on the Mitsubishi 'Dynamic Shield' front grille yet, flanked by large, over-the-top headlights. Big, squarish fenders add a hint of intimidation, while deep character lines running across its sides help lend it a sporty vibe not commonly found in its segment.

The interior boasts nice plastics, just enough soft touch materials to get by, as well as a sleek and shapely dashboard design. We're pleasantly surprised by how spacious and modern the cabin's overall vibe is, and its convenient seating configurations are a huge plus. There's telescopic adjustment for the steering wheel, and higher-end variants get a small infotainment touchscreen as well.

There's a lot to like here, and the Xpander's aesthetics only make us that much more excited to get our hands on a unit for an in-depth review. For now though, you guys can check out the photos of Mitsubishi's new MPV below. Enjoy!
