About a month ago, Hoonigan dropped the trailer for Electrikhana 2. It would be Ken Block’s final video in his gymkhana series, and the trailer alone blew our minds. As you’re reading this, the full-length version has arrived.
Here it is folks, and we’ll let the video do the talking first.

Shot and filmed in Mexico, Block takes the Audi S1 e-Tron Quattro for a wild ride around the country’s capital. It has all the ingredients of a spectacular Hoonigan flick. Roasted tires? Check. Close calls? Check. Maneuvers that defy the laws of physics? Absolutely.

But aside from the stunts, it was great seeing Block having a grand time behind the wheel. We also couldn’t help but smile hearing his voice too, looking forward to the wild drive ahead. You can also appreciate how quickly Block adapts to a highly advanced electric rally car.

Sure, he’s driven the car before, but the he way explores the limit is awe-inspiring. Sure, there are more successful rally drivers, but Ken Block’s flamboyant style reminds us of another rally legend taken from us too soon, Colin McRae.

The total length of Electrikhana 2 is about 11 minutes. It’s 11 minutes that went by a little too quickly for us. No video in the world is ever going to be long enough to capture Block’s impact in the car world, but his last dance showed us why his legacy will live on for a very long time.

Here's to hoping his daughter, Lia, will film and produce a gymkhana video someday. After all, she's driven the Hoonitron alongside one of Group B rally's greatest drivers, Michele Mouton.
#KB43Forever, indeed.
