The words affordable and Chedeng don't often go in the same sentence. The three-spoked badge has given off an air of wealth and exclusivity for as long as anyone can remember. The A-Class A180 Urban isn't exactly cheap, unless you happen to carry around P1,790,000 in spare change as lunch money. But as far as Mercs go, its sub-P2 million price tag is relatively tempting.
As Mercedes-Benz told me, this is a car designed for the Instagramming, avocado-eating crowd known as millennials. After spending a few days behind the wheel, we can confirm that this car certainly fits that bill. It's got an elegant but subtle design, a mostly gorgeous interior, and nimble handling that'll please your inner child. Despite the low price tag, it's still a Benz.
