Nissan and Medicom Toy have collaborated on a tribute piece called GT-R Forever to commemorate the R35 Nissan GT-R’s end of production in 2025. Introduced through Medicom Toy’s Bearbrick series, the collectible features miniature and medium-sized display figures with elements inspired by the GT-R.
The bear-shaped collectible has a Midnight Purple body and bronze-painted shoes reminiscent of the final R35 GT-R that rolled off the assembly line. It has ‘GT-R’ branding on the front, a carbon-fiber printed finish on the arms, and the R35’s iconic round taillights at the back—which Nissan describes as a “representation of the car’s journey through one era and its evolution into the future.”

Nissan also says that the product embodies the GT-R’s “special presence” as a legendary machine and expresses the car’s charm, something which has been loved as the carmaker’s “heartbeat model” for many years.

The GTR-Forever collectible will be available starting July 2 on Nissan’s official online shop. It will be sold as a set with one 70mm figure (100% scale) and a larger 280mm figure (400% scale), and will be limited to two sets per person.
The set will come in a GT-R-branded box and will cost JPY22,000 (P8,327). However, Nissan’s online shop currently does not ship directly to the Philippines, so you’ll have to either book a third-party service or pasabuy through someone you know if you want to cop this set.
With Nissan fans looking optimistically towards the future with a possible 2030 target for the R36 GT-R, would this Bearbrick be something you’d want to keep while waiting out the post-R35 hiatus?
