A superbike engine in a car? Nothing new. We’ve already seen someone stuff a Suzuki GSF1200 Bandit’s powertrain inside a Super Carry before. But there’s a new build that’s just surfaced on the Internet, and it’s arguably one of the wildest ones we’ve seen yet.
British YouTube channel Motor Addicts recently featured a Piaggio Ape powered by a Suzuki Hayabusa engine. If you’re familiar with both of these models, you’ll know that they’re basically opposite extremes.

On one hand, you have the Ape, a utilitarian three-wheeled vehicle with a bed at its rear. This tricycle is known as a sturdy workhorse used by small businesses to haul goods across short distances. On the other, you have the Hayabusa, an insanely powerful track machine, one of the fastest bikes to ever come out of the Suzuki stable.

The result? This absolutely bonkers thing. It’s an abomination. Unfortunately, the current owner claims someone else built this bespoke tricycle, so he couldn’t provide the exact specs and figures. All you guys need to know is that the power output difference between the two is big. Really big.
We just wish it would’ve had the bare minimum of safety features, though. For a vehicle that can do over 240kph, I mean, at least a seatbelt would’ve been fine, right?
Anyhoo, it’s still quite the insane build regardless. Click the video below to see more. Grab your popcorn while you’re at it, too.
