Rabiya Mateo has officially started her reign as Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
October 29 marked her first official day at work, and to make the occasion even more special, she took delivery of hew brand-new car—a blue MG ZS Alpha—at her new apartment. Both are part of her prizes for winning the highly coveted title.
Mateo was very excited upon seeing her ride. Her glam team—stylist Keith Angelo and hairstylist Jonas Lucas—shared photos of her reaction on their respective social-media accounts.
As the reigning Miss Universe Philippines, the beauty queen also gets her own chauffeur.
Aside from the apartment and the brand-new car, Rabiya also gets to wear the P5-million crown designed by Villarica Pawnshop. Her cash prize, according to the Miss Universe Philippines organization, is “the biggest cash prize in the history of Philippine pageantry.”
