Every now and then, celebrities come along (on social media, at least) and surprise all of us with the cars in their garage. There are absurd collections, rare classics, or just tasteful luxury cars.
We’ve come across another one, and quite honestly, I find it very surprising. It’s musician and OPM legend Rico Blanco, who apparently owns an Audi RS3 Sportback. Call me judgmental, but I never took him as a solid car nut. That said, this is a very pleasant surprise—the post got me smiling.
It’s ever so slightly hiding in the shadows, but we can clearly confirm from what the photo shows that this is, indeed, a German hot hatch. We’re seeing stock wheels on the sides, too, but correct us if our eyesight is failing us. We can deduce from those that this might be an all-stock Audi. Still, a very fun hot hatch nonetheless.

The 52-year-old rock icon somewhat indicated in his post that he’s trying to share more of his personal side on social media. Perhaps that’s what caught me off guard—outside of his old endorsements with car brands, I’ve never really seen him share his wheels. I did some research, though, and saw that this same car was already featured in a YouTube video by Second Skin Industries. Huh. Maybe I’m the one living under a rock? Anyway....
To those who aren’t familiar, the RS3 Sportback is a very fast car. It has a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine pushing 395hp and 500Nm of torque and can go from a standstill to 100kph in just 3.8sec. While for those who aren’t familiar with Blanco, well, that’s a shame. Google is your friend.
