Having trouble selling your used ride? Considering the amount of second-hand cars going on sale these days, it's understandable. Maybe it's time for you to ditch the classifieds and go for something a little more creative. A video, perhaps?
Take it from Eugene Romanovsky and his 'little beast', a used 1996 Suzuki Vitara. His sales pitch—a two-minute highlight reel of his beloved mini SUV accompanied by the hashtag #BuyMyVitara—has garnered over 3.1 million views since it was uploaded to YouTube last month.
Dodging dinosaurs, outrunning an avalanche, and chasing Max Rockatansky across a post-apocalyptic desert landscape as a member of Immortan Joe's war party are just some of the vehicle's many, many accomplishments. We have to say though, the odometer on this thing is probably going to be a turn off, considering it's been to the moon and back and traveled through time—but taking account what the car's been through, it's in pretty good shape.
No mention of whether or not this particular Vitara's been sold, but we're guessing Eugene's received more than a handful of respectable offers. Frankly, we'd be surprised if Suzuki hasn't offered to buy it to place into a museum of some sort. How much would you be willing to pay for it?
