Suzuki Philippines (SPH) just launched the new Jimny 5-Door—a lot of you probably already know that by now. What you might not know is just how roomy the cabin is, given how this one is much longer than the 3-Door version.

Well, instead of laying down the numbers for you, we did an even better test to show you guys how big that second row is. We had none other than Top Gear Philippines editor-in-chief Dinzo Tabamo sit at the back. He’s an inch under six-feet-tall, by the way. You can check out the video below.

As you can see in the video above, Dinzo was able to fit perfectly fine inside the cabin. Sure, it may be a bit tight, but at least the rear doors allow much easier ingress.

That being said, though, Dinzo shared with us that he had some trouble getting inside the vehicle—he had to be careful and not hit his head as he entered. He also said there were a few Jimny units on dispaly during the launch whe he couldn’t hop into the backseat because the front row was slid all the way back. That just goes to show that it might be wishful thinking to fit four six-footers here. But let’s be real—the regular Pinoy’s smaller than 5’11”.

For an even better gauge, our video producer Charles Banaag also joined Dinzo in the second row. Both of them were able to fit, but there elbows were rubbing a bit. No footage was shot here anymore, but the two gents did take a selfie. Believe us, Dinzo’s impressed.

Anyway, what do you think of the five-door Jimny? Would you get this over the three-door?
