Suzuki should really build a convertible Jimny like this one

This thing looks like a lot of fun

The ever-popular Suzuki Jimny is known for many things. One of them is for being a great canvas for customization. We have proof of that—lots of ’em, actually.

There’s the Jimny Beans, the rat rod Jimny, the Jimny camper, and the five-door Jimny. That’s only the tip of the iceberg. But instead of going through all the bonkers builds we’ve seen throughout the years, let’s shift our attention to this latest abomination of sorts that we’ve come across: a convertible Jimny.

This was shared by Wheelsboy on YouTube who spotted this build in China. The people behind this supposedly imported a full Jimny unit for $60,000 and spent another $60,000 modifying it. That makes this a $120,000 convertible, or just a smidge under P7 million. Insane.

The convertible has the Jimny’s body, interior, and engine, but it’s dubbed as a two-door Tank 100, a Chinese replica of the Jimny and a smaller version of the Tank 300. Regardless of what it’s called, we think this might be one of the most fun-looking Jimny builds we’ve seen yet.
