Suzuki’s quirky little machines make for good canvases for wild-looking custom builds. Remember Holy Shift’s ‘Gymni’ from a while back? We’re talking about something like that.

This latest one that’s making the rounds on cyberspace, though, could be one of the wildest custom Suzukis we’ve come across—a Super Carry fitted with a Suzuki big bike’s engine. Spoiler alert: It sounds absolutely brilliant.

The small van’s original 1,300cc-ish engine (the owner wasn’t sure about it) was removed to make way for the GSF Bandit’s 1200cc powertrain. The owner apparently hasn’t tested the small van on a dyno yet as he isn’t sure about the actual horsepower figures, but he says he estimates it to be around 120-150hp—potentially double what the Super Carry could originally produce.

While the engine was replaced entirely, its positioning was retained. It’s been moved a bit right behind the passenger seat but is still located in the second row. On the opposite end, you’ll find another of the vehicle’s quirks—the motorcycle fuel tank.

The Super Carry uses the Bandit’s original tank. The owner said that from a builder’s point of view, this just made sense because parts like the fuel pump and the wiring were supposedly intact.

The van also gets a sequential six-speed gearbox, so it really is just a motorcycle in a small van’s clothing. It even has a Yoshimura exhaust, so it also starts and sounds like a ripping big bike.

But we won’t bother talking about the sound or even the actual 0-100kph numbers. Instead, we’ll leave you to it—you can watch the full clip below. Grab some popcorn and enjoy.
