Top Gear Philippines films the most authoritative Mini documentary ever

Featuring everything you need to know about the iconic car brand
Jan 25, 2011

This month marks the first anniversary of British United Automobiles, the official distributor of Mini in the Philippines. To help Mini owners and fans celebrate this momentous occasion, we're making available here for the first time the most definitive, most accurate and most profound documentary ever produced about the iconic car brand. It's so enlightening even Sir Alec Issigonis would be proud.

This was filmed on November 26-28, 2010, when the Chief went to Palm Beach Resort in San Juan, Batangas, for a weekend of rest and recreation with the dynamic team of BUA. He brought along assistant art director Raynand Olarte and videographer Marco Paolo Subido (no relation to associate editor Paulo Subido). The Chief's driving partner and roommate for the entire trip was Philippine Star's Jeff Reyes. This video is the result of the pair's very engaging personalities and very erudite conversations. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they're also good-looking.

Watch this video and you'll never think of Mini the same way again.
