Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on the all-new, twelfth-generation Toyota Corolla sedan.
After Toyota debuted the hatch and wagon configurations, we are now treated to a new version of the iconic model in sedan form. It’s built on the new Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, and features a ‘Shooting Robust’ look on the outside and a ‘Sensuous Minimalism’ motif inside. It comes primarily in two trims: Sporty, which strongly resembles the hatch version, and Prestige, which takes inspiration from its luxurious big brother, the Camry.
With model sales set to begin worldwide next year, we’re betting it won’t be long before we see the all-new Corolla in local Toyota dealerships. Its look in either trim is certainly very modern, with sharp lines and slim head- and taillights galore. We’re digging the minimalst interior, too, which draws your attention immediately to the gauge clusters and infotainment display.
So, what’s your take on the new Corolla sedan? Yay or nay? Have a look through these photos and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
