When the Maserati Levante landed on our shores in October of this year, it was considered a pretty big deal. Understandable, especially taking into account that it's the first SUV in the Italian company's over 100 years of existence. Now we've had our sweet time inside the vehicle, and it was definitely worth the wait.
The Levante is probably as plush as SUVs come. Admittedly, it won't blow you away feature-wise, but very few carmakers in the world can present the same setup in a manner as upscale as Maserati does with the Levante. It's as much a stunner inside as it is outside.
As our writer Andy Leuterio puts it: "Maserati is one of the few Italian carmakers that has a good reputation for reliability and craftsmanship, and you can really see it in the quality of the leather here, and the wood panels."
