Korean carmaker SsangYong has officially made its grand re-entry into our market with three new models: the Rodius MPV, the Korando compact SUV and the Tivoli subcompact crossover.
To help solidify these vehicles' arrival in the Philippines, SsangYong Berjaya Motor Philippines--the brand's authorized distributor in the country--invited us to an out-of-town drive to Bataan. If anything, this was the perfect opportunity for us to find out if SsangYong's second coming is the real deal.
Frankly, we couldn't have thought of a better route on which to warm up to the new cars. So how did the three Korean rides fare on the twisty provincial roads leading up to Mount Samat? Pretty good, if you ask us. Need proof? Watch the short video above and see for yourself.
