Any Initial D or MF Ghost fans here? Well, scratch whatever you’ve been saving up for this holiday season because Casio has dropped something that’ll surely take the top spot on your Christmas wishlist.
The watchmaker has released a new Edifice timepiece inspired by the two anime and manga series, the Sospensione ECB-2000MFG. It’s scheduled to hit the market sometime next month.

Noteworthy design cues include a red and black color scheme taken from MF Ghost’s Toyota 86 and the anime series’ logos on the case back. The dial and leather underside of the strap (the top is made of durable Condura fabric) feature the Japanese characters for “gyaaa.” Supposedly, this is the sound of “tires screeching across the roadway.”

Also found on the watch’s band is the iconic lettering on the side of Takumi Fujiwara’s Toyota AE86: Fujiwara Tofu Shop (Private Use). Even the box this timepiece comes in features illustrations from the manga.

Oh, and the thing also features smartphone connectivity, LED illumination, automatic time adjustment, and a phone finder—though we all know none of this will be the reason anyone shells out money for this watch.
