There’s something about the Initial D franchise that lends itself to endless collaborations, ones that reimagine normal everyday items into more exciting products inspired by the mountain pass racing anime and manga. Today’s example is no different: Check out this wireless mouse shaped like Takumi Fujiwara’s Toyota AE86.
The mouse connects either via Bluetooth or 2.4Ghz dongle. This means you’re free to drift and slide this mouse/car on your desk to your heart’s content . One of three mousepad designs also come included in the box, each featuring art from the manga. Two variants are available—you can pick a model with either the stock hood from earlier in the series or one with the carbon hood from later seasons.
The Corolla AE86’s boxy character is accurately recreated as a product officially licensed by both Toyota and Kodansha, and is packed with details that make it a real collector’s item. My favorite bit has to be the taillights and front blinkers serving as the power indicator to show if the mouse is on or off.

Now, I can’t speak for how ergonomic this hachiroku is when it’s in hand, but there’s no denying that it’s a great novelty item and sure to be loved by fans of the Initial D franchise. The mouse is sold by Japanese online retailer camshop.jp, a company that specializes in automotive-themed products and merchandise. Price sits at ¥6,600, which is around P2,500.
