This 1:8 scale model of the Ferrari SF16-H is as close to the real thing as you'll get

We’re huge fans of scale-model cars. Whether it’s Tomica, Lego, Hot Wheels or the like, being able to hold and admire our favorite cars in detailed miniature form never gets old. Now, Amalgam is giving us another collectible to look forward to: the Ferrari SF16-H.

Amalgam's Ferrari SF16-H scale model is a replica of the same Formula 1 car driven by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikonen in the 2016 season. Set in 1:8 scale, this car is as close to the original as possible. It follows the same Computer Aided Design (CAD) data supplied by no less than Ferrari. Moreover, it has undergone close inspection by both Scuderia Ferrari's engineering and design teams. This is practically the real thing, albeit in small scale.

Of course, Amalgam knows that true collectors don’t just leave their toys on the shelf to gather dust. To this end, the company is offering a wide variety of cases and stands to enhance the look of a scale model while on display. One can opt to go for either a floor standing or table-top display, or the cool rotating wall kind. You can even spruce it up with optical lighting for that showroom effect.
