Are you getting tired of collecting die-cast scale models of cars? If your answer is yes, you might want to shift your attention to these cool scale models of automotive engines, made by an Illinois-based American company called Liberty Classics. We found these on a shelf at the SM Megamall branch of Toy Kingdom, selling for P3,000 apiece. There are only two internal-combustion engines available at the store right now: the Shelby 427 FE and the Chevrolet 350 Small-Block V8.

Featuring \"actual moving parts,\" these scale-model powerplants should be perfect not only for those who are into the mechanical workings of the automobile, but also for children who dream of one day becoming automotive engineers. Someone like a young Ferman Lao, for instance. These also make for awesome desk ornaments.

We just wish they had more models available. It would be cool to have a miniature McLaren or Ferrari engine by our office window.
