Yes, that’s the official Transformers Instagram account confirming that it will be collaborating with Back to the Future in celebration of the latter’s 35th anniversary. As to exactly what the two will come up with, we aren’t entirely sure yet—but yeah, the most obvious route to go with would be to make a transforming DeLorean.
This isn’t Hasbro’s first time teaming up with a movie franchise to come up with something unique for the Transformers toy line. There are images circulating online of a supposed collab with Top Gun, and the company has previously released a collaboration with Ghostbusters. Check it out:
