It’s been a busy year so far for Kymco Philippines, and it now ends 2023 on a high note with a launch of yet another new scooter: the new Dink R 150.
As the name suggests, the scooter will take on the likes of the Yamaha NMax and the Honda ADV 160. It’s got an sporty design, with sharp lines accentuating the fairings from front to rear. The front clip is also fited with a beak, flanked by pair of headlights that give it an bird-like design.

Powering this new scooter is a 150cc liquid-cooled, single-cylind engine that generates 15hp at 8,500rpm and 13.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The bike stands 1,957mm ong, 787mm wide, and 1,297mm tall with a 1,374mm wheelbase. Seat height is listed at a friendly 783mm, while dry weight is at 148kg.
The Dink R 150 sits on 13-inch wheels with 120/70 R13 front an 130/70 R13 rear tires. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic front shock and a double rear shock, while stopping power is handled by front and rear disc brakes. The scooter also gets ABS both up front and at the rear to go along with a traction control system. As an added safety feature, the scooter also has an emergency brake warning light, which triggers the brake lights to blink during hard-braking situations above 60kph.
Three colors are available for the new Dink R 150, namely: Pearly White, Petroleum Blue, and Pearly Black. It’ll sticker for P152,900, but Kymco is offering this with an introductory price of P149,900 until January 31, 2024.
