Ladies and gents, CFMoto has officially unveiled one of the most-anticipated models of the year: the all-new 450MT. As you may have previously been told on this space, the global launch happened right in our backyard in El Nido, Palawan courtesy of Motostrada, and media personnel worldwide were flown in to participate.
Anyway, enough gushing about how big a deal that is—we’re here to talk about the bike. Let’s start with the design. The final production model is the same as the one we saw at the reveal in Italy last year. It boasts modern styling combined and that bona fide ADV look with the windshield, handguards, and high fender all coming as standard. It’s got a unique light signature as well, with that large headlamp split horizontally with a DRL that goes across.
Color options for the new 450MT are Zephyr Blue and Tundra Grey (see below).

Of course, as mentioned before, powering the 450MT is the 450NK’s 449cc parallel-twin engine that puts out 43.58hp at 8,500rpm and 44Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. The ADV also gets a fully adjustable KYB suspension with 200mm of travel both up front and out back and with 20 levels of damping.
The bike sits on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels and has 220mm of ground clearance. Seat height is set at 820mm as standard but can be adjusted from 800mm to 870mm. It also comes equipped with Bosch dual-channel ABS and traction control system—the former is switchable at the rear and the latter can be deactivated through the 5.5-inch curved TFT instrument cluster.

A wide range of OE accessories are also available for the 450MT. There are crash guards, brake reservoir and engine sump guards, a center stand, a tail windshield and tail seat, and an enlarged base for the side stand. More accessories are supposedly on the way, so that’s also something to look out for.
So, what about the local pricing? Sorry, folks, this is just the global launch. You’ll have to wait a couple more days before the formal Philippine launch—we’ll get you the prices then. For now, tell us what you think of this new middleweight adventure bike in the comments.
